Crealies: flying bird side stepper card with video

Buongiorno, goodmorning, Goedemorgen,

Oggi vi faccio vedere il mio card con un uccello che vola.. completo con un video tutorial  .

E le fustellate degli uccelli erano bianca e poi colorati con i Copic.

Today I am showing a card with a bird that flies..including the video tutorial.

And the dies of the birds were cut out of white paper and coloured with my Copic.

ingekleurd met mijn Copic Markers.

Weer eens wat anders, 

het leuke model kaart is gemaakt met de nieuwe On the MOVE no. 17 stans.

Een side stepper card. Het is een lange stans maar hij kan ook gewoon in de A 5 stansmachine. Even het papier aan de stans plakken met blue scotch ( tijdelijk tape ) 

en het in twee delen door de stansmachine draaien.

Hier een detail van de kaart. In mijn filmpje kan je zien hoe ik deze kaart heb gemaakt,

stap voor stap,  inclusief het kleuren en de Copic kleuren die ik heb gekozen om de kleuren van een pimpelmeesje na te bootsen. Van wit papier heb ik toch een kleurrijke kaart gemaakt!

 

De achtergrond met wat Pigment Colorzz en water gecreëerd.

Ik heb ook de Texto Negativo stansjes gekleurd met dezelfde Pigment Colorzz, maar nu gedept met een stukje keukenpapier dus de tinten zijn wat "zachter".

En deze kaart past gewoon plat in een standaard envelop, zie ook het filmpje .

Om deze kaart te maken heb ik naast de Copics de volgende producten gebruikt.

Skrappy challenge ATC Love Bugs Kraftin Kimmiestamps

It's August, and that means it's time for a brand new
SKRAPPY CHALLENGE

with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

 The theme of course is ANYTHING BUT A CARD!

For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!
So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like!

Just make sure to include some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps products and make sure it's a new creation!  As soon as we have at least five people playing along, we'll be giving away a $10 gift voucher to the krafty shop as the monthly prize!  

You have until Monday, September 5th to enter, and you can submit as many new creations as you like for more chances to WIN!  Also be sure to share your designs on the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps' Krafty Friends facebook page because we love to see your stuff!

I have made this heart shaped card with these super fun squirrel friends..

they are just the cutest stamps with fun little extra's and beautiful sentiments.

The edges of the card where coloured with some pumpkin patch ink .

This pretty heart die from tattered lace  ( love it Janine :) ) 

has some faux stitching details which some are actually hand stitched on top. 

The little tags were cut with a Magnolia die.

Autumn slimline card Copic Europe

 

 Hi all , ciao tutti, hallo allemaal, 

Condivido il mio post creato per Copicmarker Europe.

Ik laat jullie zien welke post ik heb gemaakt voor Copic Europa.

The summer is slowly coming to an end and I get in the Autumn colours mood..

What about you? Do you love all those warm colours like me? 

The Copic family YR (yellow red) and the Copic Family E (earth tones) are just perfect.

Today I would like to show you my new slimline card in autumn colours of course using the pretty digital stamp called "Autumn" from Sweet November stamps.

I have printed the digital image and sentiment onto Perfect Colouring Paper with my printer, and afterwards I have used my slimline die from Mama Elephant to cut the shape.

Time to start colouring

 the skin..the scarf.....the cardigan..the gilet..the trousers..the bag ..the boots..

Of course one could stop at this point as the image is fully coloured but I wanted to create  a background too.

You could use stencils and or stamps to create a background or you can  just draw it yourself. But then you need some inspiration right?

As inspiration I have chosen a photo from my lovely holidays at the lake, it was just a guideline to make some kind of background :). 

Ofcourse first I start to draw some lines with light colour ( E 30 ) in this way  I can still add details or slightly change the scene in case I do not like it. 

When you use a pencil you should be aware that pencil covered by Copic will not erase that is why  I have decided to colour the scene directly with my Copic.

I know it is a bit scary but once you start it will get better .. and if you really don't like the result you can still fuzzy cut the image and put it onto design paper hi hi .

Here is the final result,

to complete the card I have added two leaves, cut with my I-crafter dies.

The card shape was cut with the slim film city die from Mama Elephant.

The top layer of the leaves was coloured with my Copic and on the green paper I have sprayed some distress mica spray  ..in this way some sparkle was added.
