Shadow box card with Sissix dies colored with Copic

People who follow me know I love to colour my diecuts with Copic.

Instead of using many dp / plain paper I colour my white die cuts with my lovely Copic.

.

I have cutted a brach and some birds with Sissix dies

Here you can see the colours used for the wood of the branch

E 53, E 57, E 59

For the Leaves I have used some vibrant greens,

it must be the sunny afternoons that inspired to make a kind

 of springcard :) 

 G02 ,G05

and   G29

Now that the branch is ready we can start colouring the bird,

on this photo you can see the difference between the plain ( almost boring white paper ) 

and the fun coloured branch.

That is what I love about Copic,

all these pretty colours and so many ways to use them .

The "feet" of the bird were coloured with YR 00 and YR 02.

The big bird was coloured with some shades of Yellow

Y 11 and shading with Y 15, Y 17

The small bird has got another colour,

some violet V05 and shading with V06, V09

The wings were coloured with a combination of blues

B23, B24 and B 28

The wings of the big bird got a hint of pink

with RV10, RV 13, RV14

The eyes got colour with a black multiliner ( 0.3 )

Here is the result after colouring,
what a difference :)

The background was made with the use of a Gelpress, 

a stencil and a stamp together with the refills ( various Inks ) B 04 and BG 72

The frame was made with a die of Modascrap 

and decorated with a MFT die.

The frame was glued on top of a white card,

now I have a lot of space to write inside.

But in case it can be hung as a little piece of art 

( you just have to stick a picture hook on the backside of the card.
